Trane CleanEffects utilizes patented, breakthrough air cleaning technology to remove up to an astounding 99.98% of airborne allergens from the air that passes through the filter, making it 8 times more effective than even the best HEPA room filters and up to 100 times more effective than a standard 1″ filter.
Trane CleanEffects has been performance-tested with the results verified by professors from the Harvard School of Public Health, so you know you’re getting an air filtration system like no other.
Your central air conditioning system consists of two main parts—an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, or air handler. The air handler is an important part of your air conditioning equipment. Its job is to effectively circulate conditioned air throughout your home. When matched with a heat pump, it circulates both cool and hot air, depending on the season.
Designed to handle the needs of a home at the temperature extremes, high and low, which occur in an average year. Deliver the reliability you’ve come to expect from Trane, while providing the energy efficiency you demand and deserve. The XR15, a new single-stage, offers up to a 17.00 SEER rating with Trane variable speed furnaces, air handlers and Comfort Coils™.
Providing year-round performance for total home comfort, heat pumps are a great solution for your home comfort system. That’s because they work to provide both heating and cooling. Whether it’s the hottest day of the summer, or the coldest day of winter, Trane heat pumps work day in and day out to keep your family in premium comfort. See how choosing a Trane Heat Pump can make a difference in your family’s comfort.
Packaged Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
Contain the same components you find in a typical split system. However, they’re all engineered to work together in one cabinet.
Comfort Controls / Thermostats
With a Trane programmable thermostat, you can enjoy savings on your monthly energy bill in addition to perfect climate control. Trane offers a complete line of digital thermostats, programmable thermostats and comfort controls to meet your needs. Each has been designed to maximize the performance of Trane’s heating and air conditioning systems with reliable, accurate temperature control. They’re remarkably easy to use, and they’re also easy on the eye.
We do not recommend installing a standalone dehumidifier. Instead we recommend installing a variable speed Air-Handler, combined with an appropriate Comfort-Control / Thermostat.
How do they work? You set both, your desired Temperature and Humidity level at the thermostat.
The Thermostat has a Humidity Sensor. If the humidity level inside the house is not within your preset level of comfort, it will command the air-handler to change its speed. Similar to how it turns the unit on-off to control the temperature.
If the temperature is already at your preset level of comfort, the air-handler will just run at a slower speed until the excess humidity is removed from your house, automatically.
Turning down the temperature just to reduce humidity is a thing of the past; and you will also benefit from the reduction in power consumption.
